History

Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469 was activated at MCAS Camp Pendleton, on 30 June 2009, and assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3d Marine Aircraft Wing. The squadron has participated in numerous training exercises since activating, and is slated to make its first overseas deployment in 2012
